Around 30,000 tickets had been released in the nearly one lakh capacity Salt Lake stadium for the Indian Premier League opening ceremony conducted on April 7.
These 30,000 tickets included those for the hospitality box and complimentary tickets given to VIPs by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), said IPL governing council member and Cricket Association of Bengal joint secretary Subir Ganguly.
